Support Settings Change or Reset your Comcast password

Introduction

We know it's easy to forget what password goes with what account. If you forget your password or just want to change it, follow the instructions here.

If you've lost, forgotten or want to change your password:

  1. Go to the Forgot Your Password page and enter your Comcast ID, Comcast email address or an email address linked to your account.
    Reset Your Password screen has a field for entering Comcast username or email.
     
  2. Click Next.
  3. Enter the security code in the box (see below for an example).
    • Note: The code has been distorted for security reasons.
      Reset Your Password screen shows a code to be typed in the field.
       
  4. Click Next.
  5. Answer your secret question (that you created during account setup) and enter your ZIP code.
    Reset Your Password screen asks for secret questions for identity verification.
     
  6. Click Next.
  7. Create your new password following the password guidelines and click Next.
    Reset Your Password screen requests new password entry twice.

     
  8. When your password has been updated, you will receive a confirmation message.
    Screen confirms password change.
