Get alerts even when you’re away from home.
Set up Mobile Alerts
In order to receive text or email alerts, you’ll need to register your mobile device in My Account.
Here’s how:
- Log in to My Account.
- Click the Users & Preferences tab.
- Enter your phone number at the bottom of the Manage Alerts section and click Get text alerts.

- A confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen
- In addition, notification that an activation code has been sent to your mobile device will appear at the bottom of the Manage Alerts section of the page.
- Entering your activation number will prompt a Terms & Conditions screen to appear. Select the Yes box to agree, and click Continue.

- Select the type of alerts you wish to receive, and click Save Preferences.

- A confirmation message will appear at the top of your screen indicating that you have registered to receive text alerts.
- You may elect to not receive certain text alerts at any time my clicking the corresponding box in the Manage Alerts section and then clicking Yes, stop it to the prompt provided.

Register additional mobile phone numbers to receive Comcast Alerts
To add more mobile phone numbers to receive text alerts about your account, follow the steps below:
- Go to the Users & Settings tab in My Account and log in to your account.
- Choose an existing secondary user account.
- Click View Alerts Preferences under Account Settings.
- Click Register a mobile phone number.
- Follow the set-up process to register a mobile number.
