Get alerts even when you’re away from home.

Set up Mobile Alerts

In order to receive text or email alerts, you’ll need to register your mobile device in My Account. Here’s how:

  1. Log into My Account.
  2. Click the Users & Preferences tab.
  3. In the Manage your alerts box, enter your phone number in the blank box and click Get text alerts.

  4. A confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen indicating that an activation code has been sent to your mobile phone. In addition, notification that an activation code has been sent to your mobile device will appear at the bottom of the Manage your alerts section of the page.

    Note: The activation code will be sent to your mobile device:

  5. In the Manage your alerts box, enter the activation code in the blank box and click Submit.

  6. Accept the terms of service and click Continue.

  7. Click in the check-box of each type of alerts you wish to receive. Then click Save Preferences.

  8. A confirmation message appears at the top of your My Account screen indicating that you have registered to receive text alerts.

  9. You may elect to not receive certain text alerts at any time by un-checking corresponding box in the Manage your alerts section and then clicking Save

Register additional mobile phone numbers to receive Comcast Alerts

To add more mobile phone numbers to receive text alerts about your account, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into My Account.
  2. Click the Users & Preferences tab.
  3. Choose an existing secondary user account.
  4. Click the option to manage alerts for the user (Manage [username's] alerts)
  5. Click Register a mobile phone number.
  6. Follow the set-up process to register a mobile number.
