Introduction

Find out how to be put on our Do Not Call List and Do Not Mail List.

Do Not Call

Comcast or its authorized agents may occasionally contact you via phone to tell you about special offers and new products. We will call the number you or the authorized account holder provided as a contact number for your account with us. These calls are considered sales or telemarketing calls.

You can choose to stop receiving these calls by adding your phone number to the Comcast Do Not Call List. You can ask to be added to our Do Not Call list during a sales call you receive or by calling the Caller ID number you see during the call. You can also see Request to Opt Out to add your number to the Comcast Do Not Call List.

Your phone number will remain on the Comcast Do Not Call List until and unless your number is disconnected and reassigned to another consumer, or if you request its removal.

Please be aware it is possible you might still receive a sales call within 30 days after making the request. After that, we will not call you with special offers or information about new products. If you are a current Comcast customer, you may still receive other phone calls from Comcast with information or notifications regarding services to which you currently subscribe.

If your phone number is on the National Do Not Call Registry, maintained by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and you are a current or recently-disconnected customer, or if you made a recent inquiry, you may still receive sales calls unless you add your number to the Comcast Do Not Call List. The National Registry allows an exemption for what is called an “existing business relationship” with a company such as Comcast. Most states have this exemption as well. To add your phone number to the FTC’s National Do Not Call Registry, go to https://www.donotcall.gov or call 1-888-382-1222 from the phone you wish to register.

Do Not Mail

Comcast may occasionally send you special offers or announcements about new products and services through the mail. You can choose to stop receiving this promotional mail by adding your name and address to the Comcast Do Not Mail List. To do this, see Request to Opt Out .

Please be aware it is possible you might still receive promotional mail within the next 45 - 60 days after making the request. After that, we will not send promotional mail to you with special offers or information about new products. If you are a current Comcast customer, you may still receive information or notifications regarding services to which you currently subscribe.

Notes on Do Not Call Policy

Comcast's policy for creating, maintaining and complying with Do Not Call requests shall be made available immediately upon request.

Note: The National Do Not Call Registry only covers personal phone numbers. Business-to-business calls and faxes are exempt, so Comcast Business customers may not be able to register their business numbers with the national registry. They can still be added to the Comcast Do Not Call List.
