This article details the apps user experience for XFINITY on the X1 Entertainment Operating System.
Note: Not all applications are available on all X1 set-top-boxes. See X1: Application Availability for details.
Apps Menu Navigation
The X1 Apps menu provides an interactive television experience that allows you to use our enhanced cloud-based guide features with third-party applications that you frequently use in your daily life.
To access the Apps menu, simply use your remote to:
- Go to the Main Menu.
- Select Apps.
- Highlight and select the app you wish to use and press OK.
Using the Internet apps (Pandora, Photos, etc.) on your X1 device will count towards your XFINITY Internet data usage.

Online App Setup
