If you have XFINITY Voice, the Voicemail app allows you to listen to your voicemail from your XFINITY TV on the X1 Platform device. The voicemail app allows you to:
- Play a voicemail message
- Stop a voicemail message
- Delete a voicemail message
- Browse voicemail messages
- Quickly see how many new messages are available
- Change the voicemail box to a different XFINITY Voice line
You will need to enter the primary user's PIN to access your voicemail messages through your XFINITY TV on the X1 Platform device. Your Application PIN is the touch tone keypad equivalent of the first four characters of your Comcast ID password. For example, if your Comcast ID password is "Comcast", your Application PIN would be "Comc" or 2662 on your keypad. For symbols and special characters, use the 1 key.
By default, all voicemails are private and require an Application PIN to view or play back on the TV.
For convenient one-click access to voicemails on TV, we recommend that you check Don't require PIN entry for Voicemail after entering your Application PIN. Please note, by clicking Don't require PIN entry for Voicemail, anyone in the house will be able to view and play back voicemails on the TV. You can always re-enable Voicemail PIN by following these steps:
- Go to xfinity.com/xtv
- Click on Already have it?
- Choose Manage Settings
- Log in with your Comcast ID
- Check Enable PIN for Voicemail
Once your mailbox is configured, voicemail messages on the Apps menu will appear like this:
Launch the Voicemail App
- Go to the Main menu.
- Select Apps.
- Highlight and select Voicemail.
- Press OK.
Listen to Voicemail Message
Simply use the XR2 remote control to highlight the message (phone number) to play back, and click on OK to play.
Delete Voicemail Messages
Simply use the XR2 remote control to highlight the message (phone number) to delete. Highlight Delete and press OK.
