Support XFINITY Home Purchasing additional XFINITY Home equipment (Houston only)

Introduction

Add to your peace of mind by adding motion detectors, glass break sensors, smoke detectors and more to your XFINITY Home system.

Note: This FAQ is for customers in the Houston, Texas, area that purchased XFINITY Home prior to November 16, 2011. If you are a customer outside of the Houston, Texas, area or purchased XFINITY Home after November 16, 2011, please click here.

Please contact us to order any additional sensors or devices. Devices purchased from any other vendor are not supported with XFINITY Home. This includes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in your home, which will continue to work independently, but will not be tied to your overall alarm system. Additional equipment available includes:

  • Door/window sensor
  • Motion sensor
  • Smoke detector
  • Keyfob (A small touchpad that allows you to arm and disarm your system, activate police or auxiliary panic alarms from up to 500 feet away.)
  • Carbon monoxide (CO) sensor
  • Glass break sensor
  • Additional TouchScreen
  • Water/dust resistant camera (Can be installed indoors or outdoors, camera has day/night vision capabilities)
