Support XFINITY Home Arm and Disarm Your XFINITY Home Security System

Introduction

Learn to get the most from your home security.

Note: This FAQ is for customers in the Houston, Texas, area who purchased XFINITY Home prior to November 16, 2011. If you are a customer outside of the Houston, Texas, area, or if you purchased XFINITY Home after November 16, 2011, please see XFINITY Home Support.

How to Do It

First, you’ll need to log in to XFINITY using your primary comcast.net email address.

Arm the System

You have two options:

  • Arm All will arm all sensors in the home. This should be used if everyone is leaving for the day. You’ll have 60 seconds to leave the home if you arm this mode through the Subscriber Portal.
  • Doors & Windows will arm just the door and window sensors, leaving the motion sensors disabled to allow you to walk through the home without triggering an alarm. You’ll have 120 seconds until the system is armed when you choose this mode from the Subscriber Portal.

Disarm the System

  • Click the Disarm link. The system should disarm within a few seconds.
