Introduction

If you want to give other members of your household access to your Comcast account, you can create a username for each of them online.

Additional usernames

A Comcast account can have up to six additional usernames.

To add a username:

  1. Sign in to My Account as the primary user.
  2. Click the Users & Preferences tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click the Add a user tab (located next to your primary user name and any other usernames associated with your account).
  4. Fill out the form with the new user’s information and click the yellow Add user button.
  5. You will then see the new username added to your list of usernames in your account.

User permissions

When you create a new user, the user doesn't have any permissions. The user can only utilize some account features, like watching XFINITY® TV online and using email (if you have XFINITY TV and Internet).

You can change a user's permissions anytime.

To change a user's permissions:

  1. Sign in to My Account as the primary user.
  2. Click the Users & Preferences tab at the top of the page.
  3. Select the username you want to edit from the tabs of users listed on the page.
  4. Click the Edit Permissions link next to ‘user’s Permissions’.
  5. Choose the permissions you want the user to have and click Save.
