Yes. Emails will be sent to your primary Comcast user email address and you will see in-browser notifications when you reach 90% and 100% of your monthly data usage plan amount. In many of these markets, you also can elect to receive notifications at 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 110% and 125% of your usage.
You will receive an automated phone call from Comcast the second month you reach 100% of your usage.
You can also elect to receive mobile text notifications when you near or exceed your usage plan:
- In My Account under the Users & Preferences tab, put a check in the Text box next to Data Usage Threshold:
- You will receive an email once you have enrolled to receive text messages that states:
Dear Comcast Customer,
The My Account Alert preferences for [name] have been changed.
[name] is currently enrolled in the following emails and SMS Comcast Alerts:
Email Alerts: Data Usage Threshold
SMS Alerts: Data Usage Threshold
