AutoComplete for Internet Explorer saves you time and reduces typos.

How It Works

AutoComplete for Internet Explorer suggests entries as you enter information such as your user name, password and address into web-based forms and applications. Suggestions are displayed as soon as Internet Explorer recognizes your familiar patterns. If a suggestion in the list matches your criteria for that field, click the suggestion (or press the down arrow key to display a list of suggestions). Then hit Enter.

How to Change Settings

To change your settings for the AutoComplete feature, or to clear all items from the archived list of data, follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Tools button and select Internet Options.
  3. Click on the Content tab and then select Settings under AutoComplete.
  4. Check the appropriate boxes to enable or disable the AutoComplete functions. Once you’ve made your selections, select OK.
  5. Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
