Support XFINITY Internet If I enroll in the Flexible-Data Option, what happens if I use more than 5 GB of data in a month?

Introduction

This information only applies to Economy Plus customers in Huntsville and Mobile, AL; Atlanta, Augusta and Savannah, GA; Central Kentucky; Maine; Jackson, MS; Knoxville and Memphis, TN; and Charleston, SC, who choose to participate in the Flexible-Data Option.

If you use more than 5 GB of data in any given month, then you would not receive the $5.00 credit for that month and you would be charged $1.00 for each gigabyte of data used over 5 GB. This fee would be in addition to the cost of your monthly XFINITY Internet Economy Plus service charge. Comcast will send you a courtesy in-browser notification and emails letting you know when you reach 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%, 110% and 125% of the 5 GB included in the Flexible-Data Option.
