I get a Comcast error page when I try to go to a specific webpage.

If you mistype a web address or your web address can’t be found, you’ll be directed to the Comcast Error page. The error page will provide you with the relevant search results to assist you in finding your intended web page or URL. If you prefer not to receive this error page, learn how to uninstall the Comcast toolbar.

When I open a new tab in Internet Explorer or Firefox, I receive a Comcast page.

We’ll present you with a light page that is similar to the Internet Explorer standard, new-tab page, but it will include the added convenience of a web search box. From here, you can search the web or simply type in a web address or navigate to a webpage of your choice.

I'm unable to access the xfinity.com homepage or it's not showing some content.

There are a couple of steps that you can take:

Clear your cache and cookies, and try to access the xfinity.com site again. If this isn’t successful, please try to access the page by visiting: http://76.96.54.12.

This issue is believed to be limited to customers using specific router configurations and we are working on a complete solution. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, and you’re using a Linksys router, please upgrade to the latest firmware using the steps below:

  1. Visit www.linksys.com.
  2. Download the latest firmware.
  3. Log in the router and click Administration.
  4. Click Firmware upgrade.
  5. Browse to the downloaded file.
