Introduction
Are you having keyboard problems after installing Constant Guard? Here’s how to fix them.
After installing Constant Guard Protection Suite, some users may experience keyboard issues. This is because Constant Guard Protection Suite installs an additional application, GuardedID, which provides security measures that make some games inoperable and some keystrokes render incorrectly.
If this is happening to you, all you have to do is remove the GuardedID component. Don’t worry: Constant Guard Protection Suite will still work with the GuardedID component removed, though you will be missing an important security feature. The GuardedID application encrypts online identity information so that malicious bots can’t steal your personal information.
To uninstall GuardedID, follow the steps below:
- From your Control Panel, select the Add or Remove Programs option.
- Select GuardedID from the list of installed programs.
- Select Remove.

Reminder: The Constant Guard Protection Suite application will continue to function properly but will no longer provide keystroke encryption, an important security feature.
