Introduction

Here’s how to use Call Screening to screen calls. This is not to be confused with Call Blocking.

To activate Call Screening from your home phone

  1. Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
  2. Press *60.
  3. Follow the prompts to activate and deactivate the feature - and to add, delete or review the numbers on your list. When creating your list, include the area code for local and long distance numbers.

To deactivate Call Screening from your home phone

  1. Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
  2. Press *80.
  3. When prompted, press 3 to turn the feature off.

To access and manage features online with XFINITY Connect

  1. Access XFINITY Connect from www.xfinity.com.
  2. Select the Email icon.
  3. Enter your primary Comcast ID and password.
  4. Go to the Preferences tab, select Call Manager, then select Call Screening.
  5. For Anonymous Call Rejection, click the appropriate box.
  6. For Selective Call Rejection, click the appropriate check box. Click Add to add a new telephone number or highlight an existing number. Then click Add again.
  7. Click Save.

To access and manage features remotely with XFINITY Voice

  1. Open a web browser and go to www.xfinity.com.
  2. Select the Voicemail icon.
  3. Log into the Digital Voice Center using your XFINITY Voice telephone number and current voicemail passcode.
  4. You can manage your features through the Preferences tab.
