Support XFINITY Voice Change the Number of Rings Before Voicemail Picks up

Introduction

You have many options with your phone ring setup, such as setting the number of times your phone rings before calls are forwarded to voicemail.

To change the number of rings before calls are forwarded to voicemail, just follow the steps below.

For XFINITY Voice and XFINITY Internet Service Subscribers:

  1. Go to www.xfinity.com.
  2. Select the Email icon.
  3. Enter your primary Comcast ID and password. 
  4. Go to the Preferences tab, then select the VOICE icon.
  5. Select Call Forwarding and Rings.
  6. In the Send call to voice mail after field, select the number of rings you want before the call goes to voicemail.

For XFINITY Voice Subscribers with Voice 2go Activated:

  1. Go to www.xfinity.com.
  2. Select the Email icon.
  3. Enter your primary Comcast ID and password.
  4. Go to the Preferences tab, then select the Voice icon. 
  5. Select Advanced Call Forwarding.
  6. Click on the pencil icon to edit the Ring Count.
  7. Click the drop-down menu next to Rings Before Voicemail.
  8. Select the number of rings you want before the call goes to voicemail.
  9. Click Save to save your changes,

While the change is usually immediate, it can take up to 24 hours in a few cases.
