Support XFINITY Voice XFINITY Voice Features: Access and Listen to Your Voicemail From Anywhere

Introduction

Whether you’re traveling or just working late, you can get to your voicemail from just about anywhere. Access your Comcast voicemail over the phone or online whenever you’re away from home. There’s no extra setup required.

Here's How to Access Voicemail From Any Phone

From Your Home Phone

  1. Dial *99 or your home telephone number.
  2. When your personal greeting starts, press #.
  3. Enter your passcode when prompted.

Remotely

  1. Dial your home phone number.
  2. When your personal greeting starts, press #.
  3. Enter your passcode when prompted.

Automatic Playback

The automatic playback control manages whether or not your voicemail automatically plays a new message once you dial into your voicemail system, or if you want to be prompted by the system to listen to your messages.
  1. Access your voicemail mailbox system following the instructions above.
  2. From the main menu, press 4 for personal options.
  3. Press 2 for administrative options.
  4. Press 1 for general options
  5. Press 4 for message detail playback options.
  6. You then have the following choices:
    • Press 1 to toggle automatic playback of the date and time each message was received.
    • Press 2 to toggle automatic playback of the name of the person leaving the message.

Here's How to Access Your Voicemail Online

If You Have XFINITY Voice and XFINITY Internet

  1. Access XFINITY Connect.
  2. Select the Email tab.
  3. Enter your primary Comcast ID and password.
  4. Click on Voice & Text.
  5. Click on Voice.
  6. Select the voice message you want to listen to and click on the Play button.

If You Have XFINITY Voice Only

  1. Access XFINITY Connect.
  2. Click on Voice & Text.
  3. Sign in using your XFINITY Voice telephone number and voicemail password.
  4. You will see a message about XFINITY Connect. Click Register to register your Comcast ID. This will allow you to access your voicemail through XFINITY Connect.
    • If you do not click Register, you will be redirected to the registration page automatically.
    • If you already have a Comcast ID and attempt to sign in with your telephone and voicemail password, you will be prompted to go to XFINITY Connect to listen to your voicemail.
  5. Click on Voice.
  6. Select the voice message you want to listen to and click on the Play button.

Automatic Playback

  1. Access XFINITY Connect.
  2. Log into your primary account.
  3. Click on Voice & Text.
  4. Click on Preferences.
  5. Click on Checking Voicemail.
  6. Set preferences for playback.

Here's How to Access Your Voicemail Using the XFINITY Connect App

You can listen to voicemail messages through the XFINITY Connect app on your cellular device:

  1. Go to the Messages tab in the XFINITY Connect app.
  2. Click on Voice.
  3. Select the message you wish to hear. Playback will start immediately.

Voicemail Guidelines

  • Each voicemail message can be up to three minutes long.
  • Your entire voicemail box can store up to 225 minutes of messages.
  • There isn’t a limit on the length of time your voicemail messages will remain available.
