Support XFINITY Voice Manage Anonymous Call Rejection

How It Works

Anonymous Call Rejection automatically rejects calls from numbers with Caller ID blocked. Callers who block the display of their name and number will hear an automated recording that you’re not accepting blocked calls. The message instructs them to unblock their Caller ID and dial you again.

Use Anonymous Call Rejection

  1. Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
  2. Press *77 and listen for a confirmation tone that the feature has been activated.

Cancel Anonymous Call Rejection

  1. Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
  2. Press *87 and listen for a confirmation tone that the feature has been canceled.

Access Anonymous Call Rejection Online

You can manage your voicemail features through XFINITY Connect. 

If you have both XFINITY Voice and XFINITY Internet

  1. Access XFINITY Connect from xfinity.com.
  2. Select the Email icon.
  3. Enter your primary Comcast ID and password.
  4. Go to the Preferences tab, select the Voice icon, select Call Manager, then select Call Screening.
  5. For Anonymous Call Rejection, click the appropriate box.
  6. For Selective Call Rejection
    • Click the appropriate checkbox.
    • Click Add to add a new telephone number or highlight an existing number.
    • Then click Add again.
  7. Click Save.
If you have only XFINITY Voice
  1. Go to www.xfinity.com.
  2. Select the Voicemail icon.
  3. Sign in using your XFINITY Voice telephone number and voicemail password.
  4. You will see a message about XFINITY Connect. Click Register to register your Comcast ID. This will allow you to access your voice account through XFINITY Connect.
    • Note:  If you do not click Register, you will be redirected to the registration page automatically.
  5. Go to the Preferences tab, select Call Manager, then select Call Screening.
  6. For Anonymous Call Rejection, click the appropriate box.
  7. For Selective Call Rejection:
    • Click the appropriate check box.
    • Click Add to add a new telephone number or highlight an existing number.
    • Then click Add again.
  8. Click Save
