Support XFINITY Voice Set Up an Extended-Absence Voicemail Greeting

Introduction

Let callers know you’ll be away for a while.

How It Works

With an extended absence greeting you can record a greeting that lets your callers know that you'll be away. When the extended absence greeting is set up callers won’t be able to leave a message.

To set up an extended absence greeting:

  1. From the main voicemail menu, select option 4 for Personal Options.
  2. Press 3 for Greetings.
  3. Select 2 to turn on and record your Extended Absence Greeting.

After setting your extended absence greeting, you’ll be given the opportunity to turn it off as soon as you call back into the system.
