Introduction

Never miss a favorite show again. With our XFINITY TV Application or XFINITY™® Connect Mobile app, you can program multiple DVRs in advance with your iPhone or iPad.

Activating the Service

It’s very simple to control DVR Manager with your XFINITY TV Application. But first, make sure you activate the service online before you install it on the device you’re using.
 

XFINITY TV Application users:

  •  Activation on your mobile device is automatic.


XFINITY Connect Mobile app users:
 

Activate the DVR Manager on your device by:

  1. Going to the Guide and selecting DVR Manager from the menu to start activation.
  2. Selecting Activate Now to sync with your home DVR.
  3. Once the sync is complete you can start scheduling recordings from your smart phone.


 

Recording using DVR Manager

  1. From the main screen, select the TV Listing tab or go to the website at www.xfinitytv.com/tv-listings.
  2. Move through the grid of available programs.
  3. Select the program you want to record.
  4. You’ll be given the option to record the program on your DVR.

Setting up DVR Manager for more than one DVR using the XFINITY TV Application

  1. Follow the first three steps listed above. A record button will become visible.
  2. Select the record button to bring up a recording options screen.
  3. Accept the default DVR, or choose another DVR from the drop down list in the upper left corner of the app.
