Introduction

XFINITY TV on Samsung Smart TV is an XFINITY On Demand-only service, available for download from the SMART Hub on Samsung Smart TVs. The XFINITY TV on Samsung Smart TV service provides our XFINITY TV customers the ability to search and watch XFINITY On Demand programming on their Samsung Smart TV without a set-top box.

Accessing XFINITY On Demand

The XFINITY TV on Samsung Smart TV service essentially acts as an additional set-top box for your existing XFINITY TV service. But you must subscribe to XFINITY TV with XFINITY On Demand service, meaning you will have a Comcast set-top box or CableCARD device connected to at least one TV in your home. Also, the XFINITY TV on Samsung Smart TV service is only being offered to Comcast customers that purchase both XFINITY TV with XFINITY On Demand service and XFINITY Internet (any speed tier).

If you have an eligible Samsung Smart TV, you can view and download the app from the SMART Hub on Samsung Smart TVs. You will need to log in with your primary Comcast ID and password to begin accessing XFINITY On Demand content.

No. Just like the XFINITY On Demand programming you can watch on a set-top box, XFINITY On Demand on your Samsung Smart TV is not delivered over the Internet, so you do not use your XFINITY Internet service and it will not count toward any data plan. However, the download of this service does use the Internet and would count toward any data plan.
